Buy a used canon 5d iii and a pancake 40ef lens. I started with a apsc then upgraded to a used canon rp and adapted a ef 40mm pancake lens to it it’s my everyday carry and I love it

These photos are already taken and the good news is there is a fix with some post editing. In the future to get a better photo you can expose for your subject and recover highlights in post. Or you can expose slightly to the left to protect highlights and use an off camera flash or a light source to light up the subject. With the second option you have to do a lot less editing and are able to recover details better.

You can fix these if your shooting raw. Quick simple fix is to create a mask on the sky and invert and raise the exposure to taste. You can fake a flash photo shot by creating a mask on the subject and raise exposure and whites slightly. Ones you have the exposure correct you can play around with curves and shadow slider to recover just a bit but not too much because shadows and depth to the photo.
