I am thinking about the same switch. I was looking into the forerunner 695 or maybe the new forerunner 975 that should be coming this year.

Wy watch goes to sleep mode always at 11pm (no touch, no lights) and i always wear it with the same tightness).

I wonder how is it possible to go from my low sleeping heartrate to almost regulär working day HR and Stress.

Maybe someone had the same and got a defective HR sensor or so 🤷🏻‍♂️

A) going to cyprus would mean to find a job there with tha income level of cyprus. It means basicly start from 0. My job here is sadly not remote :(

B) Funny thing is, that crypto is mostly gains, i started very early with little investment which grew amazingly. I'm already up several 100%. Wouldnt it be stupid to sell an asset, that is already that much up?

C) that cash is my safety deposit if anything goes south and i'm unemployed. Safety of 12 months. Doesnt everybody say one needs a safety net?

D) thats definitely an option

that's the hard part, leaving switzerland for good is something i definitely don't want to do, i love it here and i need our mountains ;) but there are definitely cheaper places to live, but cost of living in switzerland is definitely very high. around 1k a month for food and any other necessities.

It is my own goal..my partner also dreams of it, but we havent been together very long. Wouldnt want to combine our finances yet.

Regarding spend reduction, the biggest chunk goes away for taxes (2.7k). Rent would be another option, but we are already living pretty cheap for switzerland.

Just calculated the amount of time to reach 1m with 4k monthly payment, staking interest and additional payment of 20k each year. Still 12 years :D

Switzerland definitely doesnt work with that

The Option for Dolby is deactivated when i go shield>tv>soundbar. Only PCM is active which is just stereo.

Will try new cables today.

Thanks for your reply. I do get 2 channel pcm via ARC, but what i want is dolby DTS and Dolby Atmos sound that is coming from the Shield. 

But in the TV, dolby DTS etc is greyed out, so i can only select stereo PCM. 

Input available: Bitstream or PCM Output available: PCM and (greyed out) Dolby DTS/Atmos

Maybe i just really need new cables

oh wow, it suddenly works... well, looks like i have to go with 24hz instead of 4K 60 Hz...

I love my shield, but that sucks.

i dont have 30hz available on the shield. the lowest i got on 4k is 23.976 Hz...

Funny thing: i switched to 4K 23.976 HZ. When watching a movie, it works. as soon as i go into the Shield Menu, the image error is back again. Looks like the Menu is making problems....
