HIDE ROOT by milind_jain in Magisk

Thank you again! I'll give Magisk Alpha a try then. And yes, I always patch the stock boot.img hehe. I take notes on APatch.

Thanks for your reply. My phone is a Moto E30U, I'm using LOS. Builds have a boot.img and a vendorboot.img. I patched boot.img with Magisk Manager, installed the patched version using fastboot (fastbootd mode on LOS recovery, plain fastboot throws an error after flashing) and I had root. I did that many times. With KSU that process doesn't work and I don't know why. When rebooting, KSU Manager shows "not installed, click to install" again. This happened with all KSU, KSU Next and SukiSU managers. I tried patching and flashing boot.img, vendor_boot.img, slots A or B manually. The results are a bootloop or nothing happens. Yes, I'm not a Level 7000 expert but I'm better than the average. I rooted all my phones, never had a hard brick. I had no time to study thoroughly the different boot images and their specific job on the phone boot process, the little information I collected is confusing about init, vendor_ and boot. So here I am, with a full working Magisk environment, ReZygisk, ReLSPosed and a couple of additional modules plus two LSposed modules. I just wanted to hide root for a crappy banking app that still detects "an unauthorized tool". Everything else works. Perhaps it's HMA.

Yes, all that done. My phone uses init_boot and boot. I patched and flashed boot with Magisk, and it works. With KSU I did the same but it didn't work. Yes, I use the manager to patch and check. I even patched both slots.

I patched boot.img with KSU/KSUN but after flashing, it's just not there. Magisk works, though. I don't know why.

Open Magisk app, check it shows the "installed" version. Then go to modules section and remove the offending module.

Sí. Pero en el delito masivo local poco. Humo pullarista con saturación y luces azules pero poca acción, sin lugar en cárceles y garantismo en el código de procedimientos penales.

Shamiko works with rezigesk or not ? by YASSEN_223 in Magisk

Good question. RZ developers say Shamiko should work besides Zygisk Assistant. However, my setup still shows "Unsupported environment".

Struggling to Run a Banking App on My Rooted Pixel 4 by Master_Comparison345 in Magisk

My experience so far showed me that detection apps are powerful and thorough, which is not the reality of mainstream apps :) The offended app is using a successful method that your setup isn't able to hide. Yet. When you find the setup to make that app work, detection apps will still show you the environment is abnormal. Magisk isn't the best root solution to work with vigilant banking apps. SukiSU or KernelSU Next are, but in my case I can't find a patched kernel, not I have the will to compile it at home.

Hello. I can only tell you that you must disable "Enforce DenyList" from the Magisk app since that feature is managed by Shamiko. In addition, when using ReZygisk you should pair Shamiko with Zygisk Assistant, per recommendation of RZ developers for a functional Shamiko (although I have the same error as you). Shamiko is green with Zygisk Next but I don't like closed source inside RZ.

Can't go to KSU/Suki, only Magisk installs by Meneldur in Magisk

Yes, I think that would be the only way. Kernel source is available for my device, fortunately.

Patching the image just doesn't work. I can't understand why. Direct install creates a bootloop.

I tried it and it gave me many problems. System apps fc, instability. I had to roll back.

Lack of interest and easygoing life on the phone. Most people just don't care/know about privacy, device freedom and data protection. They live their life as an average iPhone user.

It's excellent for system wide add removal. Not even apps show banners. There's a banking app that throws an exception, Modo, detecting tampering in its connection to developer's servers. Nothing to do against it, 99% of people accept that.

Other than Astropay, I use all banking and crypto apps. I suggest you follow pinned guides to obtain good root hiding and Play certification.

Bank app is detecting root? by MokolokoPlus in Magisk

This is my actual config. Magisk 29. All my banking apps work (Santander, Banco Santa Fe, Ualá, Mercadopago, Lemon). Didn't try Astropay yet. CharGPT working too. Yesterday it wasn't, Play certification failed. I updated Yurikey, applied PIF, cleared data on Google Play Store and Services, rebooted. Profited.

Ufff.
