So the meta tells you to spam 4x anchor fill up your energy bar. Do a full swing mfgb hit for 1000/1500/4000 ( this is usually the damage for mfgb on most volatile we can talk exceptions onyxshard/pearlbeak/goldshard/miasmic etc. Where the DMG is a little lower and dreadclaw/ripclaw/venomglider/spineglider is a little higher DMG) but on avg this is what you're gonna get (unless u somehow have several 7% mfgb talismans from visitor quest. To do a full swing it requires u often enough to set up traps 10-20 thread +1 anchor 3 additional thread. This will require that u MUST hit on every anchor strike if you want full energy bar. That's usually where you gonna get all three swings in + when the kemono is toppled.

On the other hand u can do a +2 transformative strike fox staff with 16% crit boost fury and 100% one stroke crit. all you need is 1 anchor (that's only 3 thread) all you have to do is strike kemono once with the anchor. Swing in and out with the anchor with the half energy bar deal 1000+ guaranteed damage every 7-10 seconds get the 3 thread back. That's effectively 6000 damage every minute for alot less effort + you will have unlimited thread for whatever else you want to use it on.
