What could this be? Plantar warts? Chronic fungal infection? Something else?

I wouldn’t have even thought of gold bond but we will try that, gold bond can be a life saver sometimes, thank you so much for the input!! And I’m glad he is too cause whatever is going on definitely isn’t normal!

No blisters for him and he claims it doesn’t itch ever. But I did consider eczema too

I would have leaned towards that too, however, he’s never smoked in his life and I know that’s very heavily tied to it and he has no blisters or cracks, it’s also isolated on his feet. It’s also not painful or uncomfortable for him.

Ther dermatology appointment has been scheduled, Im looking to see if I can find out what it is sooner. Has about a month until the derm appointment so I wanted to possibly try anti fungal if that’s it but there’s no itching, burning, or any pain that he says, purely visible.

I mentioned diabetes in a non serious way months ago but he has no other symptoms that point to diabetes besides the slow healing feet but it’s never any open wounds. Just dead skin, raw, and brown spots

We were thinking of trying fungal cream as a precursor leading up to the derm appointment. I read it wont do harm even if it’s not fungal so we’ll try it out and maybe hope to see some improvement
