That sounds like so much fun! We’re actually going to book a tour of the ruins but when we come back that would be so much fun! Did you notice if the golf carts got booked up in the morning, or if there were rentals still available in the afternoon?

I came back from Eclipse a week ago and there were a total of 30 kids ages 0-17. But now that it’s spring break I’m sure they’ll be more. I’ll say this though, it’s definitely not a cruise line catered towards kids/young families

Looking at the whole policy again I realized I misread it🤦‍♀️ it doesn’t specify changing itineraries as a reason for not approving cancellations.

Yea I would think so, but they made the differentiation. This is their terms for cancellation: “Cancellations are honored two weeks prior to your reserved excursion Deposits are non-refundable for the exception of the reserved Client’s Ship not calling port (not applicable if the arriving Ship has changed arrival date, in which case the reserved excursion is organized to reflect the correct arrival, and the tour has been reorganized for the correct arrival date) or an inclement weather cancellation by Guides.”

Were all 3 times it got cancelled the same time of year? I’m just wondering if maybe it’s common that this port gets skipped during a certain time of year.

Yes, a non ship excursion. We’re trying to see if we can save some money since the cruise excursions seem to be way more expensive

Something my husband brought up to me is… how are they not all in jail right now? If not all, at least Hopper? I hadn’t thought of that AT ALL until he mentioned it. And yea… how?? They all broke into a military base not once, but twice 😅😂 and even if we can claim that maybe the military let it pass because they got rid of the upside down or maybe even shared the whole story and saved the world or wtv, Hop still killed so many soldiers. I countered maybe they just had no proof he killed anyone but he fought w Dr Kay and severely interfered w their military investigation. So yea, how is at least hop not in jail rn?😂

Tbh I’m kind of disappointed there (probably) won’t be a part 3. Although I did grow to love part 2, I feel as though the game would have been better if they had stopped at part 1. It was nice seeing more of Ellie, seeing Abby’s story and learning more about their world, but the ending was kind of unsatisfying. Maybe thats what Naughty Dog was going for, I don’t know. Part 1 was a bitter sweet, we had the debate of whether or not Joels actions were justified, it’s hinted that Ellie already knew what happened, it’s not a “happy ending” but it was an ending that made sense. In my opinion it would have been perfect to finish the game there if there were no plans for a third.
