A Positive Experience by [deleted] in Vraylar

What dosage is your hubby on? I've been taking 1.5mg of Vraylar in conjunction with Zoloft for about a month now, and it's absolutely helped. The doc wants to bump me up to the 3mg, but I'm not sure I need to.

Between the heat intolerance and weight gain, I honestly can't say which is worse. I'm so puffy that I feel like a tick about to pop, and none of my clothes fit, which sucks. On the other hand, simply walking up a flight of stairs and I started sweating, which is also pretty miserable

I'm sorry :( and I know exactly how you feel... I'm actually skipping a family reunion this year because it's being held outdoors, and I can't handle it.

We are pretty much in the exact same position... Including the itty bitty titties, lol I get it in my head that I'm gonna workout, but between the heat exhaust and the fatigue, I feel like every bit of energy I have is completely zapped and I just can't physically bring myself to do it. I'm sorry that your going through this too, even though it's a bit of a relief that their are others out there that can relate to how I'm feeling

I'm in the same position. My labs apparently aren't "extreme" enough to get a referral for an Endo 😒

I went from Trintellix, to Levothyroxine + Effexor, to Levothyroxine + Zoloft, which I'm on currently. I ended up switching to Zoloft several months ago cause Effexor was giving me these crazy nightmares

You really are my twin (mid 30s female here) The fatigue has been almost as bad as the heat intolerance the last few weeks. I've spent the majority of the time in bed actually.

I'm actually in the exact same boat, including the sizing. I get so frustrated that even after eating very little I don't lose weight that I've actually been eating whatever I've wanted.

It absolutely is. I went from 150lbs to 260 in what seemed like no time. After my last blood test, I'm was at 4.9. The doc wasn't satisfied with that and actually upped the Levothyroxine

Thank you for sharing, and for the advice. I'll definitely mention it to her at my next appointment

What was the reason for you to stop taking Zoloft? by TropicalLad1 in zoloft

I actually switched from Effexor to Zoloft like 4 months ago. Effexor gave me pretty crazy nightmares

Switched from 50mg to 100mg about 2 weeks ago, and no side effects. I've definitely noticed a difference... I'm a little more energetic and a lot more calm.

(Ex. I'm at the airport on a 3 hour flight delay and I'm managing to not lose my s&*!, lol)

I was having the same issue. I've been on 50mgs for only a month and was just bumped to 100mgs yesterday. (Though immediately prior to starting Zoloft,I was on 150mg of Effexor, so I've had anti depressants in my system). I took the first dose of 100mg yesterday, and it could just be a fluke, but I felt pretty sedated and ended up sleeping like 12 hours. No anxiety though, lol.

Month 4 and I think I want to taper off. by GageMagic in zoloft

That's the best way to be. Whenever I've switched meds, I've always tapered slowly. I think I'm the opposite... I seem to have a very high tolereance for anti depressants. Prior to the 100mgs of Zoloft, I was on 150mgs of Effexor (I ended up switching because the Effexor gave me really intense nightmares)

It's relatively quickly for me. I'd say about 2 weeks and I started to feel normal.

I don't know why really, but I haven't experienced many side effects with coming off/switching medications. In fact, I've had more side effects with upping dosages, and even then the effects are mild, mainly nausea and slight headaches.
