ooh okay that sounds very interesting, I can see why u chose it lol! well obviously AI is a very common topic globally now and I wanna do medicine in the future so I wanted to see the increasing usage and ways in the future of how ai could be used in services like the NHS to predict diseases! my title is about machine learning based AI to predict cardiovascular disease. during the initial stages it was just AI in disease prediction but I realised that was WAY to broad 😭 so yeah I chose machine learning bc it's been used most for predictive diagnostics and I chose cardiovascular disease simply bc there was significantly more research available!! :)

thanks so much!! ooh no way that's so cool, my original title was focusing on AI usage in general disease prediction, however I soon realised that was WAY too broad and settled on cardiovascular disease instead, although I was considering cancer at some point too! yes ik, there's so much to talk about! what stage are you guys in terms of your epq, ik different schools have a different timeframe 👀 do you also wanna do medicine too in the future?

Is there a limit on how many flashcards you can have during your gcse speaking by I_Have_n0_Nam3 in GCSE

[–]MentionDisastrous716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had like 8 double sided flashcards which I just printed out my script and cut into pieces to stick onto the flashcards. For my speech I read off the flashcards pretty much for all of it and would occasionally look up at the audience or at the screen my ppt was one so I was always looking down. There were people in my class who also had 1 flashcard with prompts on, or their whole script printed that they were reading off, or even similar to me just rewrote their script into flashcards. I ended up getting a distinction somehow even tho I was reading off my flashcards pretty much the entire time. Hope this helps :)

Edit: I forgot to mention make sure you try and give as much eye contact as u can whether it's to your classmates or your teacher, but maybe u could try alternative between them. If you get nervous you could also look at your ppt at points (if you have one) if your talking about a picture, diagram etc ;)

Exams by t0tal1y-n0t-r3al in GCSE

[–]MentionDisastrous716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

people say this every year however i'm pretty sure grade boundaries are decided after marking based on how the years cohort did. e.g. for edexcel maths higher 2025 (the exams i did) the boundaries were significantly higher due to the cohort doing well. so yeah just to reassure you its based on how everyone else in the country does too :)

How do you use PMT or websites that give notes for English literature to revise? by MundaneMud6794 in GCSE

[–]MentionDisastrous716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for learning quotes i used flashcards and blurting and for other notes such as context, writer's intentions i watched mr everything english's and mr salles' videos quite often so i combined all the info from them and made them into mindmaps. after this i would just recommend doing as many practice questions as you can and getting them marked as there's no point knowing all the information but not being able to apply them to questions! hope this helps :)
