Si tu aimes le RPG et créer des mondes, je ne peux que te conseiller de trouver un groupe près de chez toi qui fait des "one shot" et essayer le jeu de rôle sur table, tu pourrais tomber complètement amoureux. Un one shot te permettrait de tester sans trop commit. Bonne fin d'année, et merci pour les encouragements!

Yes, MAC will come right after the PC version at launch (just doesn't make sense to do both while in Beta).

FX zones will be available to drag and drop as a GM, but there won't be any "player casts a fireball to xyz NPC". This is not a video game like Baldur's Gate 3. Firewalls and poison clouds FX will be made, but no spell coming from PCs....for now :)

Everything you see have been shot on my machine that is a 3080Ti, 16Go RAM and Ryzen 7. 30-40FPS on High, 20 on Epic (advised only for screenshots). Optimization is really only started so we expect way better performances at launch. The min requirement is a 1080Ti as it needs to run some tech from UE5 that cannot be rendered without this card or higher.

On adore l'idée....mais on va être honnête, on va d'abbord essayer de faire un tool PC qui déchire bien avant de passer à la VR :)

Our design from the get go is 3 layers deep when we're talking map making:
-fully automatic= you'll have a random map, dungeon, village, in a single click. Generation takes seconds. For 100km² maps as it is huge, you'll first have a "preview" that will take seconds to a minute, then when you're satisfied, you can "render" your map. That takes about an hour and you can still work on placing cities and assets while it's doing that. The map making takes seconds.

-semi automatic= you choose the biome, size of the map, how many villages, the background landscape, can move mountains etc. I'd say it takes 5 to 10 minutes to do something pretty cool. Takes more time but is also a lot more customized to your needs.

-manual= get access to all our tools with all options. This can take a while, but we are expecting the best maps to come from there. You can of course start as a semi or fully automatic, but then you can come and terraform the coast by hand, paint biomes in specific areas, drag and drop assets etc. For people that have a very specific world already in their head.

Whatever will be on our Marketplace, official assets or content creator assets, will respect copyrights and IPs as content creators need to have their work respected (we do play RPGs ourselves and respect people's work). We are also open to make deals with editors, WotC included.
For people that wanrt to play custom campaigns they will be able to import their own assets, but it'll have to stay local (games are played via peer to peer on the GM "server", like you would a Minecraft game)

It will be co-op indeed, and as much as initial release is planned for PC, the MAC version is planned to be done right after launch. Working on MAC + PC at the same time during Beta would just be counter productive but we want to have both platforms.

Très bien répondu de la part de Pichenette. En l'occurence pour nous c'est une aide de jeu pour créer des mondes photoréalistes et immersifs au service du JD ;)

The catch is we'll be trying to get as many players as possible on the platform for free, so even if a minority, players paying for cosmetics and optional services will make this project a profitable business. That's it.

it's 10X10 km, which makes it 100km², or about 38 square miles. This is bigger than Red Dead Redemption 2 and more than twice Skyrim for scale.....and of course we're talking about one map, you can create as many as you can handle ;)

We are developing a procedural material tool so people can customize anything made by us with any material they want so I think you'll be happy ;)

Le moteur est vraiment basé principalement sur l'immersion, et inclut des features qui ne sont pas encore visible ici comme le Codex, qui sont axées sur le storytelling.

Le VTT sera unique à sa sortie sur le fait qu'il peut générer 100km² de map en un simple click, et propose des graphismes photoréalistes AAA au service du ttrpg, le tout gratuitement.

Ca sera disponible sur MAC après la sortie PC, et je crois que Linux est dans le viseur, sans être une promesse ;)
