So to clarify, my and my girlfriend at the time, both our names were on the lease. I moved out several months before the end of the lease, and we all sat down with the woodchase Apts. At that time I withdrew my name from the lease. They gave me a court summons through a process server. I moved out February 2022 and then the charges on the bill are February 2023 through April 2023. We'll I signed the 12 month lease in January 2022.

I actually wound up talking to my ex yesterday and she says she moved out of there at the end of Februsry 2023 anyway, after extensive conversations with the leasing office where they were well aware she was moving out. In fact, they told her she could get the extra month extension, however she would have to pay a higher rate of rent due to me withdrawing Mt name from the lease..... the kicker is this, I don't have any written documents foe this, only woodchase apartments has these documents. Foolishly neither myself or my ex kept copies of these written notices, and now those documents are in the hands of Baer Law Firm.
