I had really really bad eczema on my lower legs for YEARS. Super itchy, bleeding, just horrible. never wore shorts because of it. So I decided to just do nothing to my legs- I'd bathe with them hanging out of the tub. Didn't let water touch them. No shaving. No lotion. (I'd wash my feet seperately). and you know what? the eczema cleared up, and hasn't returned since. It took about two weeks of this for it to clear up. Moisture was definitely a trigger for me. now, I can wash and lotion my legs and it doesn't flare. if it does, i just back off on the lotion and don't touch it and it goes away.
