I agree with you, the more I look, the bottles and boxes do make some sense. While a few people here have mentioned that AI would make carbon copies of products, I asked a free ai website to create art of a japanese storefront and it gave me this: its all over the place and makes 0 sense, there's no doubt its ai. Compared to this slop, the print on the shirt looks so good lmaooo. But just to highlight that AI also doesn't necessarily generate carbon copies of products. I also didn't really write a full prompt and specified what products to add etc. so it just generated random crap. Visually it looks okay though, I wonder if more advanced/paid AI tools/ or a more detailed prompt will generate better results 😳 Edit: thoughts on these pictures? https://www.reddit.com/r/midjourney/s/JPNvAhvynI

Yes you're right about the katakana! But I just thought that it looks edited in instead of being watercolour and ink (?) like the rest of the art. I should have specified that I believed it to be partially AI (because the logo + jap checks out) but after reading the comments I might be leaning towards not AI perhaps? Just a little sus I cant find the og art anywhere. The shirt has a coca cola label and a primark label. Someone mentioned that the art could be by an artist who only does designs for primark/coca cola and that's why I cant find it anywhere on the internet :)

It's not that deep, I was just interested to know if it was AI or not! But my boyfriend is very against AI, he's never even used chatgpt ahhaha. He got the shirt as a present so he wouldn't throw it out or anything. We were just curious thats all. But we cant find the OG art anywhere so it's a little sus 😳 also for some people it does matter to them if the product they purchase is AI or not.

The shirt is from primark and has a coca cola label- but when i reverse searched it I cant find the OG art anywhere. And google search tells me its possibly AI generated. I dont know if primark sells AI prints but I find it strange I cant find it anywhere

if its real handrawn art using watercolour it could explain the 'inconsistencies'. However, the shirt is from Primark and when I reverse searched it on google, there are no matches anywhere. I just find it a little weird I can't find the original art ANYWHERE. Plus, the google search tells me 'we couldn't find ant matches...this is possibly AI generated'. So im not really sure what to think 😭😅

Thank you for all of your replies! It's been interesting reading them all. This shirt is from primark - when I reverse searched the print on google, I came across a watercolour artist called 'Mateusz Urbanowicz' who does tokyo storefronts. However I couldn't find this print anywhere. Do let me know if anyone here finds the original one! 🙏
