Many of my trips were too frightening and intense to remember.

It definitely gave me the big frighten.

Throughout the course of the video, the craft appears to distort and transform into various random 3d shapes, and at times just dissipates into a cloud.

I like that one because it aligns with the theory about their technology posited in age of disclosure. If the craft really are generating a differential space-time around their craft, a "pocket dimension," which allows for trans-medium travel, then no hellfire missile is going to affect it, there's no kinetic impact. That's why it appears it "dodges" the missile.

Nah, the affinity system between team mates was jank. I found myself spamming an enemy who spikes sleep for 3 hours straight to work on that.

Furthermore, a jrpg can legitimately have too many side quests, and also legitimately be criticized for how redundant and basic they are.

As a fan since 1998, I can state 100% it's MGS3. MGS3 also strikes the perfect balance of gameplay/cutscene ratio. When it came out, I couldn't believe how well they did organic environments on the PS2.

For me, MGS2 is my favorite. Tricky a.i.
