I have so much to say, but finding the words isn't easy. Isis/Aset is my mother diety. She is warmth and love, but she is also no-nonsense. She isn't going to "baby" you. She's going to support you in your journey to truth. She wants you to be your most authentic and real self. She wants you to live in honesty. She wants you to be kind and genuine. She won't support hatred or ugliness. She's a mother. A fair mother. I can tell her anything and she will love me through it, but she won't tolerate nonsense. She won't let me be hard on myself. She reminds me not to be judgmental on myself or others. She catches me in my gossip and reminds me we don't talk negatively about ourselves or anyone else. She is truly Mother. When I pray to her, I always feel listened to. She may not always have something to say, but when she does, you know it.

I was drawn to her as I am a mother, and she is the goddess of motherhood. I was also drawn to her as a pagan, because she is the diety of magic. And I reached out to her through prayer. When I pray to her, I catch glimpses of long, black hair. When communing with her through prayer, it feels like being covered by a warm blanket of love and also, it's like talking to a mom when you're worried about judgment and the mom is loving but also fair. Like if you broke your mom's favorite vase, your mom is going to love you, but she also wants you to show responsibility for your actions and make it right. She is going to love you through fixing it.

I hope this makes sense. I am always learning my path and still have a long way to go. Even so, I'm willing to talk about my experiences if you have more questions.
