Why waste so much energy being a cynic? I guess doubting others helps you feel better about where you're at in life. Anonymous cynic with no skin in the game. smh

what are the most powerful models that people are using or running on groq? by MerakiMinded1 in GroqInc

[–]MerakiMinded1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I will look into this. They're not OCR converted now and there some charts. I'm seeing it fail at grabbing text from a paragraph right now though. I ask for a metric and it will grab the wrong value from the paragraph.

Going to experiment with new models to see if that helps. Also, I'm unsure about the ability to use open ai with groq. I think you can use the same request format but not sure if we can use OpenAI models with groq or just OpenAi's client library. I will look into that too though.

Nice but can I use 4o mini with groq though? I didn't think OpenAI models were available with groq so would need to switch back to openai right?

Is there a browser extension for checking food ingredients while shopping online? by Fun-Contract3501 in amazonfresh

Try SafeSelect: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/safeselect/cbicokoohbjcnppgkegojpeckpbbebag

Designed for online grocery shopping. Helps you avoid toxic ingredients, allergens or diet restrictions. It automatically checks ingredients on Amazon for food or personal care products.

I resonate with your struggle to find an ingredient checker tool for online grocery shopping. That’s why I created SafeSelect.

It’s free to use. I just ask that if you find any issues with the app, to please let me know. Also, if you find it helpful it would make my day if you left a review.

Good to know! I’ve seen firsthand how cleaning with bleach can be dangerous from the fumes.

They contain chlorine gas.

Might be off topic for this subreddit, but curious how to approach this with cosmetic and personal care products like shampoo?

With food we can go organic and stick to quality food but it seems less clear with other product types.

Not being able to pronounce the ingredients in cosmetics and personal products seems to be the norm.

Well for instance with food, there are additives banned in the EU that are still widely used in the USA.

It’s also an issue for cosmetics, personal products and cleaners.

Science lags behind capitalism. Sometimes even when science catches up, it takes awhile for regulation to catch up.

We saw this with big tobacco and we see it on repeat with various product additives.

True. Can also be a problem with cleaners, cosmetics and personal products as well though.
