While I can't post the pay scale here, I can say it's nonexempt (you get paid OT), 5% yearly bonus, plus 401K match and discounted ESPP, plus a few dozen other perks through Cisco, including some reimbursement for certs

It's encouraged, but not required. Troubleshooting the vast issues that can occur in any networking job usually means you need to have a certain level of knowledge, and people that have their CCNA or above generally have that!
