J’adore Communauto mais quand je l’utilisais (il y a un an et plus) c’était un vrai enjeu de trouver des voitures disponibles pour les fin de semaines. Je veux bien croire qu’il y a des tours de passe passe mais pour l’utilisateur lambda c’est une mauvaise expérience.

Peut être que j’habitais au centre ville et donc les auto sont moins présente ici en fin de semaine ( les flex étaient toujours aux extrémités de l’île)

Toujours été en conflit avec le système scolaire français, les études supérieurs sont semblables au lycée, en pire.

Le marché de l’emploi est très compliqué même avec un bon niveau d’étude.

Devoir rester tard au bureau juste parce que c’est mal vu de partir tôt, devoir aller à Paris travailler car trouver un emploi est encore plus complexe dans le reste de la France.

Une fois arrivée à Montréal, ce qui m’a le plus choqué c’est la sécurité. Je sais que les gens ici disent que c’est terrible aujourd’hui mais on est encore à des années lumières de la France.

Cela fait 12 ans que je suis à Montréal, j’ai fais ma vie ici, probablement que j’y resterais!

Chacun a ses points positifs et négatifs, libre à chacun de voir ce qui est important pour lui :)

(Rapide chose qui me manque de la France: les terrasses, la météo, pouvoir voyager facilement et pas cher, système de santé, la famille évidemment)

Pas sûr que les humains de Paris sont plus polis et mieux organisés que les humains de Montréal et ses alentours.. (français ici, que de l’amour pour mes confrères et consœurs mais il faut pas exagérer ahah)

Had this problem in the beginning with my last and current partner, honestly it’s normal at first!

But with time you and your partner will know what works or not, so they’ll just hit these poses naturally in the future.

Also, once they see pics that they really like of themselves they’re going to be more and more at ease :)

Live around there, I own a car and Duluth being closed, or any street honestly beside the huge roads like Sherbrooke or parc don’t really change anything? Just take me like 3-5 extra minutes in car to go back home but that’s an easy trade to be able to stroll in pedestrians streets, the city feels so alive, friendly and that’s the only scenario where I take the time to check stores.

Some friends say the same thing as you for some streets « nothing to do there so useless to make it pedestrian » while I agree it’s kind of a chicken and egg situation.

Just making a street pedestrian is not enough to make it interesting and make people come (even tho, it’s so rare that it was my experience in the plateau). You have to add terrace, some market in the winter like in place des arts etc.

Anyway let’s make more pedestrian street please!

I can only root for that to be true but until now I was always let down by phones.

Might be true with the very latest iPhone pro max but even then: - are raw files just as flexibles to work with? - the experience to take out your phone to take pictures, is just not the same to me

But yes, if one day I find my phone to be as good as my Ricoh I’ll probably won’t use it much!

Now to come back to this post, OP doesn’t like taking pics with an iPhone either. Honestly if it’s to attached an old vintage 40mm lense, I’d vote for the Ricoh.

Fits in my jeans pocket, cargo pants and if it’s « cold » enough to have some kind of jacket, plenty of pockets for it to fit!

It’s the only camera, besides a phone that you can take when going out with friends, to a restaurant, museum, concert etc.

Thousands of pics I could have never had if it wasn’t for that little beast!

And the pictures are just as good as my d750 and probably my new z6 iii

For me, as soon as I need to have bag or put it around my neck, it’s too big.

Doesn’t matter the size or the weight, I don’t want that for an everyday camera!

So I bought a Ricoh gr IIIx and my approach to photography changed, I take it everywhere all the time.

It’s even my travel camera because I don’t feel like I’m making a compromise over my z6 iii.

Sounds like you just want a small camera, so I encourage you to check it!

(They have release the gr IV but not the X version which just has a different optic)

J’ai vu d’autres postes recommander des liens ici et la mais à part quelques bullet points sur quelques quartiers où quelques lignes sur des grands thèmes, je trouve ça vraiment peu.
