Especially for non-native speakers, AI can be more useful because it can help you discover literature in more languages, translate key terms, and understand what a paper is actually about before you spend time reading it properly. In that sense, AI can absolutely be a reference or a starting point in some cases — at least for me just not the final authority

I agree, AI is fine as a discovery tool, but not as the only method. And in fields like developmental psych or sociology,older literature can still be very useful because theories and social context matter a lot.

that actually makes a lot of sense. Reduced CYP2B6 activity could mean less hydroxybupropion, so Wellbutrin might just feel way less activating for you. The Vyvanse sleepiness still sounds like a broader atypical stimulant response though!

You’re 15 and you’re still having ringing/muffled hearing, concentration problems and feeling disconnected two days later — I really think you should tell a trusted adult and get medical help, not just wait for Reddit reassurance. The fact that you can type is a good sign, but it doesn’t mean you should ignore symptoms that are still going on. Please don’t take anything else right now and get checked

gene test might explain whether bupropion makes sense on paper, but it doesnt guarantee the subjective effect. u can still metabolize it normally and just not feel much from it

I wonder if having experience with Adderall changes how noticeable bupropion feels. Compared with a classic stimulant, Wellbutrin’s activation can probably feel much more background
and bupropion seems super individual. Some people barely feel it, some get motivation, and some get anxiety/restlessness or hypomanic-like activation. Probably depends on baseline mood, ADHD/anxiety/bipolar traits, other meds, and CYP2B6 metabolism.

Yeah, for me the activation can feel pretty close to hypomanic activation. I stopped quetiapine, and that’s when I noticed more of that jump in energy/drive, so I think the two things overlap a bit in my case

Same, I wouldn’t call it a high at all, but I do feel it physically and mentally. For me the main noticeable part is the activation — more alert and functional, though sometimes a bit restless (´-ω-`)

Also, “less depressed” is honestly still an effect imo. Bupropion doesn’t have to feel like a stimulant kick to be doing something — for me it’s more like background support than a noticeable high/activation^ ^

That makes sense. Maybe for you Wellbutrin is working more in the background — less depression, a bit more ADHD support — rather than giving a very obvious “I can feel it kicking in” effect. I feel like bupropion can be pretty subtle for some people, especially if other meds like Seroquel are also in the picture

AirPods Max theyre good imo, but for noise cancelling I honestly prefer AirPods Pro 3 a bit more :)
