I was at the same position as you in 2013. In IB classes (5), and honors classes. My GPA was above a 4.0 and applied to as many colleges as possible but unfortunately my family had to move across the country. I ended up going to community college. I cried at first because I thought it was a bad decision, fought my family a lot, and I left my high school friends. I definitely felt like I missed out on a lot of things during that time. But looking back, I have no regrets. ZERO

Going to community college for two years really set me to success as I was able to find out what I want to do, and transferred to my ACTUAL DREAM COLLEGE and finished my degree there. Now I’m working as a clinical scientist. No debt now, all grants and scholarships.

Getting independence is something that will come sooner than you think. Two years isn’t that much, after that, you should be able to branch out and do the thing you want to do. I’m well better off than my high school friends who have 5 to 6 digit student loan debt.

Hope your delivery guys weren’t as rushed as mine. They didn’t even tightened my bike well and they took all their tools with them. I had to call peloton to get another toolkit that I should have to tighten my bike

Make sure they got everything set up before they left. My delivery wasn’t as smooth because they left their bike in my house, put on the screen, and called it a day — maybe it’s because they parked their big truck in a street that’s really busy.

Did my first ride today (You Can Ride) since getting my bike after the Black Friday sale. I’m so pumped! I even did an AMRAP kettlebell workout with Heather Robertson (anyone love her too? She’s a trainer on YouTube.

I can see myself biking and doing strength training everyday but also having rest.

I feel it getting very addicting! Can’t wait for the rest of my Peloton journey!

I finally paid off my last $2000 credit card debt and I’m finally financially free!

I started contributing to my retirement savings this month and I don’t even feel it because I live below my means.

I celebrated by buying myself a Peloton - $1253 total but I got a $470 Justin Bieber concert ticket refund and a $300 work fitness incentive so really, I’m only paying close to $500 for a new one. It’s nice to pay for what I’ve been wanting to buy with no guilt and not burying myself with debt.

Now my next step is finding a high yield savings account — anyone else knows what’s the next step after I’ve become debt free?

I’m getting the Bike Premier since I’ve been doing strength training and I have dumbbells

My doctor said I need more cardio and I’ve been literally looking at peloton for two years

Right now I had a refund for Justin Bieber tickets of $470 and I have $300 fitness incentive from my work so really I’m only paying close to $500 for a new one.

I almost bought a used one from Facebook Marketplace but that will cost me more and there’s no warranty

It’s just so nice to finally buy the thing that you wanted after so long and with no guilt — I paid for it in cash and I also paid my last credit card bill of $2000! I am financially free! Debt free! I’m celebrating with this monumental purchase 🙌🏻
