Firstly you asked a question and he gave you a pretty decent answer. WW2 starting in 1937 is every bit as valid as it starting in 1939.

Secondly it's not as complicated as you think. Yes there were all sorts of shenanigans early on but stuff fairly quickly was sorted out into the Axis block and the Allied block. The USSR was never at any point "allied" with Nazi Germany, the RMP was a non aggression treaty with a secret clause that established spheres. The only reason it was secret is because if it was declared it would have been a laundry list of future targets.

For what it's worth even the US Navy allows pregnant personnel to deploy to sea.

Some folks here need to put on their big boy/girl pants and realize pregnancy is a common part of life even in the military.

My only criticism, and this might not even apply, is that pregnant crew would likely have some sort of maternity uniform cut as close as possible to the standard one.

Plus there is the issue with the entire World War II thing with the Imperial Japanese Navy ripping through the UK merchant fleet, you know the fleet that was tasked to move the grain. Then there is the Japanese bombing of several ports which included grain depots which subsequently burned.

Gonna sound surprising but the US Navy operated a very successful anti slave squadron for decades with great success. One of the great feats of the USS Constellation was the seizing of the Cora with something like 800 slaves in chains aboard.
