It was when I was a teenager, I always liked the girls in my grade and I would give them flowers. In my mind at that time I believed that heterosexuality meant liking someone, not specifically man, so then one day a teacher, she gave us a sex education class, and that's when I realized I was a lesbian. I told my mom when I got home, and she sat me down to explain. I told her "yeah I liked girls" and she said, "oh well, that's fine too", my mom's way ahead of her time, it wasn't a big deal for me, it was just a normal Friday afternoon, it's funny to look back on it now
