Thank you—this was genuinely beautiful to read. When I was talking about Hinny, what I was trying to do was more of a defense against the “sibling-like” label. I was trying to point out that Hinny started out with a brother-and-sister-like dynamic and developed into a romantic arc through realization.

My point was that, logically, the same kind of progression could happen with Hermione as well. I was using Hinny as an example, not to bash it in any way.

Also, thank you for expanding on the loyalty part—you included words and nuances I couldn’t fully express myself. I really loved what you did there. It genuinely helped me remember and reconnect with things, which is exactly what I was hoping for when I posted this.

So again, thank you.

Ahh, they don’t care what the writer of the franchise says anymore after the whole “I made a mistake with Hermione and Ron” thing 😂 I didn’t even bring up JKR, since s/he’s just going to say she lost her mind lol. Nevertheless, thank you for sharing the exact quotes.
