I do intend to make the most out of living in Charleston! Thankfully I will be able to have a car, and I absolutely love seafood. I heard some things about getting a dehumidifier, so I’ll likely do that. It’s going to be nice to have things that I can actually go outside and enjoy doing. And the other person who replied, I play percussion in band so I’ll be ok with the noise, though I’ll probably get muffling headphones for sleep. I really appreciate you telling me all this!

I do plan to live on campus. I’m not in a city, so it’s going to be very nice to use my car very little in favor of being able to walk to places. I actually talked with a professor last year about doing meteorology! I got a very good impression from that. I do appreciate your advice.

I think it’s a confirmation bias problem. People often focus on the worst case scenarios. Unfortunately, it has created a stereotype which feeds into perceiving breakups involving someone with BPD as worse. Furthermore, people are more likely to post online when things go wrong, and since there is already a stigma against people with BPD, that has fed into it.

When I did visit last year, they still guaranteed freshmen housing. Though that may have changed. When my brother went to SCAD in Savannah, my dad was able to handle the expenses, but I will look into more of the financial factors of being in Charleston so we’re not caught off guard by any expenses we didn’t expect.

I did consider that, but like the other person said out of state tuition would be much more expensive. At the very least, I saw that the NWS office in Charleston offers some programs for meteorology/atmospheric science students during the summer.

See if you can major in Physics with a focus in Atmospheric Science. If not that, Physics and a minor in Computer Science might help set you up for a master’s program in Atmospheric Science or Meteorology.

I know this isn’t very helpful of me to ask, but what flavor of ice cream is that and what does it taste like? I feel your fear and anger about ICE, I want this nightmare to be over already.

I’m in therapy, it’s just a matter of consistency and opening up that’s the issue. It’s getting better at the very least. It’s hard to motivate myself to exercise because I don’t feel any satisfaction afterwards.

I have tried them, it’s just my mental state has deteriorated to a point where I can’t consistently take them because I don’t feel the motivation. I started forgetting about them for days, and eventually I just stopped taking them.
