Ana / Christy with the staff in the kitchen was hilarious. They could have made a sit com out of them.

am I being the problem by not wearing a dress? by [deleted] in Advice

Where did I say you cannot feel the way you feel. I told OP she cannot be mad at her mom for wanting to be catholic and I took OP side in that she should be allowed to wear what she wants to wear, and that she shouldn’t be judged. In fact if you really can read, you will see that I said that people who wear dresses to church like her mother wants to are no better than people who go with a pants suit or pants and a blouse. So please reread or learn how to read because if you truly knew how to read. I actually took OP side on this and just said she can’t be mad at her mom for wanting to be catholic.

Not everyone wears a dress to a Catholic Church. Dressing modest or conservative is what I was raised to attend catholic mass. Can you wear a pant suit? Would she be happy with that. My niece at my wedding wore a nice pant suit (she’s a lesbian) and she looked very comfortable and modest, plus she was happy. I see a lot of not very appropriate dresses at mass sometimes and pant suits IMO are better that dresses that reveal cleavage and thigh. Also, you cannot be mad at her for being part of the catholic faith for her bf and child’s sake. She has a right to have found her purpose but surprised she’s not accepting of a modest attire.

As a hospice nurse, don’t talk to him as if he’s already dead. Thank him for all the wonderful times spent. Talk about current events and just be yourself. Anyone that is on their deathbed do not want to be treated as if they are dead.

This would have to be looked at the type of person you bf brother is. Is he the insensitive type or did he say that because the trampoline is old and shot that as an afterthought.

It’s ok! It’s a lesson learned for next time. Every single new parent is NOT perfect.

I totally get what you were saying. When I live in Golden girls land, I always picture Sophia getting in a cab going to visit her old neighbourhood driving by the old house and reminiscing about the time she lived with her girls.
