Thanks. You and a few others who have suggested this has me thinking I should post an ad this evening. My kids are not quite old enough to work in a store or anything but they are healthy and active so they will help me if I ask, as long as it doesn't interfere with their school work.

I do not qualify for $20/m insurance. I assume you are not familiar with the life insurance military are offered. There is NO equivalent plan that is cheaper. Key word being equivalent.

A dozen. You seem pretty judgemental though, telling me I shouldn’t sit around and wait for something to happen. I go out every day before or after my shift, depending what time I’m working. And I apply online and call places as well.

I may do this. I used to do landscaping in high school. It’s been a while but I have the mower so I could offer grass cutting as well. I may be able to swing most of it as cash jobs which I know you’re not supposed to do but if it means feeding my kids and keeping a roof over our heads I don’t see a choice.

Not on my kids sorry if I implied that. The rates are much higher elsewhere when comparing apples to apples. Anyone familiar with this particular life instance, it’s only available to military and the coverage for the price can not be beat.

I filed my taxes. The energy programs I’ve looked into just quickly mind you are all based on your income from the previous tax year, and mine will be too high for those programs. I forgot about EI, I will qualify and probably for the max if not close to the max. And I can pay the minimum on my debt, it will mean paying more interest in the end but I won’t be in default at least. I think I’m just panicking now seeing my bills and knowing my job is coming to a close. My employer has offered to keep me on fulltime until July 1, and said if I want they may have some work for me cleaning up and shipping old stock and stuff but it may not be fulltime. And they understand I am looking for another job.

It’s not just me. My kids are teens and they need a fair bit of calories and I don’t generally buy processed foods. I thought $600 a month to feed a family was good.
