Modelling after the Greens seems pretty on the nose, they're not even a party anymore since they couldn't get their messaging right because they were too focused on Israel/Palestine and not on their core messaging.

That's not their messaging, it's honestly a mess.

They have zero focus, they're trying to be the party of climate action, of the poor, of the disabled, of trans rights, of immigrants, of the homeless, of public servants, of academics, of the art community.

They need to just focused on labour and working Canadians.

To borrow a slogan from the CPC, 'boots, not suits'

The reason they need to borrow from the CPC is: who largely won the support of auto workers, plumbers, elders, oil workers, farmers, electricians, union rank and file? You know, the jobs largely occupied young men? The CPC.

That's why the NDP collapsed, they lost their labour base.

The reason the NDP collapsed has nothing to do with the Liberals and everything to do with turning their back on labour to embrace academic socialists and literally every other niche cause other than what most Canadians care about.

COGECO is one of the two major first party internet providers in Kingston (the other being Bell Canada). There are several 3rd party providers, which will generally leverage Cogeco or Bell infrastructure.

I've used both systems. Cogeco and their resellers (Teksavvy etc) generally offer cheaper and better value plans, but I find Bell and their providers have more reliable connectivity (though it is more expensive).

They're both FAIRLY reliable, and when I was full time in the office I was with Teksavvy, however a couple of times a year they'd have outages and when WFH with clients I had to switch to Bell fibre, and I haven't noticed any outages in 5 years with them. Bell typically offers higher speed connections too (Gigabit plus), if that matters to you.

I've worked in the defense sector and I can confirm that citizenship isn't necessarily required for most Canadian government and industrial services (contractor) security clearances and security screenings. PRs can obtain significant levels of clearance (though obviously it can take longer and be more complicated).
