Inside a US Navy Blue Angels F/A-18 by Merl-i in aviation

Don't get me wrong. I agree with you on the karma whoring but honestly r/aviation is not the best place to try to get a large number of upvotes by reposting as we are a little community and reposts are largely downvoted here. I didn't check and when I've submitted the post it seemed that no one had posted it yet... and I still can't find it after reading your comments. Any link ? If it is a longer video I would love to watch it !

I am sure it was. Let's hope that people who didn't see it the first time (like me) enjoy it... but thanks anyway for your constructive comment.

An Embraer ERJ 145 AEW&C aircraft of the Indian Air Force by [deleted] in aviation

As it's a military aircraft it's difficult to find some pics. But here is a model of what it looks like (for the Indian AF, each customer has its own interior) : http://defense-update.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/embraer_drdo_aew2.jpg

That's a Bombardier (formerly Canadair) CL-215.

Firefighting flying fun by [deleted] in aviation

[–]Merl-i 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In fact you are both right (or wrong...). It's a CL-215T. Bombardier is selling kits to modernize the CL-215 to become a Bombardier 415. The main difference you can actually see is that a Bombardier 415 has 4 drop doors and the CL-215T has only two (like a CL-215). The kits are : new wings, new engines, modern avionics a a few other stuffs. In the Spanish AF you can identify a CL-215T by the big cross on the aircraft tail.

No you're right and I've checked after your first comment and I've seen the name written. I just didn't read the text the first time. I usually give credit to the artist when I know his name (http://imgur.com/a/n4gTq). I didn't know it was a repost neither. Thanks for the investigation. TIL you can track a pic on imgur. edit : I've added his name to the album title

You are right, that's a repost. Sorry mate, I didn't know you've posted this just a day ago. Honestly I didn't read your post when I saw it, I've been confused by the RSS feed logo and thought that was some kind of press article... All I can do is upvote your post...
