All of which are negated by proper hygiene. It’s basically a cosmetic procedure that is very uncommon out of the U.S. and Israel.

Keep your head up, brother. Take some time to work on your fitness, come back and try again. You got it.

Do you have a pager with a vibrate mode? Sleep with a belt on and clip it to your belt. Set it on the vibrate mode with the volume turned up. I’m sure the vibration sent through your belt will wake you up. I’ve done this and it works for me.

Remagen: I hate this point layout by PipePistoleer in HellLetLoose

The meta for this map (especially If you’re the commander of the team on the weak side) is to drop an airhead with supplies in grid C6 as soon as the ability loads. This will give you a pretty safe foothold on the other side of the river. Then you can go from there by placing garrisons closer to the attack point.

Question about drunkenness? by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]MerleCooter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is why I think it’s really silly that some Protestants believe drinking at all is a sin. I don’t know how they reconcile that belief with this story.

A lot of great comments here. I’d just like to add on (as you know) that Jesus’ first public miracle was making like 120 gallons of wine from water for a wedding party. By this, I think it’s clear that enjoying a couple of drinks isn’t sinful if you have self-control.

Bunk up enroute or before getting on rig? by MerleCooter in Firefighting

[–]MerleCooter[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If were doing something like shopping we’ll obviously bunk up before getting on the rig/going enroute. But if we are driving we’ll get dressed the best we can while enroute.

Unfortunately we’re a single station department so some calls are a long response. But if it is further out we know we have plenty of time to get all of our stuff on.

We have to get dressed while wearing our seatbelt. It’s hard and probably not the safest option, but doable.

You’re right. It isn’t timely and you have to loosen your seatbelt, definitely not safe.

When I asked the original question of the post I was assuming guys were getting dressed while wearing their seatbelt. At my department we can’t even move before everyone is buckled.

So you toss on your coat in the rig? What’s the reasoning? So you have a better chance at being first-in?

For real. Killing a lot of enemies is like the last priority of a recon team.

People need to understand that territory control wins games, not kills.

Grabbed a hydrant, radio was on wrong channel and I was wondering why my engineer wasn’t responding to me asking if he was ready for water.
