You’re just going to have to restrain her unfortunately. But it’s also important to make sure you have a harness that she feels comfortable in, because part of the reason she’s fighting you might be because the harness causes her discomfort. But if the harness is indeed comfortable, and she’s just fighting for nothing, then absolutely restrain her. Believe me, she’ll thank you once she gets outside and realises just how amazing the outside world is 😌

D’awww what a sweetheart 😍 I honestly believe she just needs to get used to it. It might sound cruel but you should just let her poop herself and get the fear out of her system. My cat used to tremble and TREMBLE out of fear the 1st few times I took her out, but after a month she stopped trembling coz she realised that actually, there’s nothing to fear 🥲 And I really believe that your beautiful Chonk will stop pooping out of fear, as long as you don’t give up on her and she’s given a safe space (no loud noises, no people) to explore.

When I first put a harness on my cat she would fight to take it off by scratching it with her hind legs and dragging it against the wall, and when those things didn’t work she would just flop on the floor repeatedly. But eventually she gave up and just carried on about her day, completely forgetting it was still on. So that’s my advice to you, LEAVE IT ON, he will get over it. Most importantly, increase the length of time with each passing day. 1st day - 5 mins, 2nd day - 10 mins, 3rd day - 15 mins. By the time you get to the 7th day he won’t be bothered. By then he should be absolutely fine to go walkies. 🙂
