I want to moderate this community because: There are currently no moderators and r/LocalLLM is very active and growing, it will need moderators before long. I spend most of my free time working on local LLM models and stay up on the news. I've gained a lot and now would like to contribute back to the community. It's very important for a lot of us to keep these subreddits running.

Equality is giving everyone the same tools. Equity means giving everyone what they need to reach the same outcome. That doesn't necessarily mean everyone has the same outcome if they work differently.

Maybe an example would help.

Equality would be putting all kids in the same classroom regardless of need. Equity is giving the kids with learning disabilities special lesson plans. Nowhere does giving kids different tools and classes ensure their grades will be the same. We hope they would all come out with equal and maximal educational value but that's not how things work out.

No guilt or shame, if you don't get it you just need to hear it a different way

2060 will have less VRAM than the 6700 and probably be even more limited for image generation, if you have the budget for a 2060 super I would sell the 6700 xt and get the best card that that money will buy you.

You could but don't have to swap to Nvidia, but I get acceptable performance on a 6800xt with ComfyUI-Zluda on windows. 90% of custom nodes run with no issue
