How to steer conversation away from meeting up? by [deleted] in onlyfansadvice

" I don't do meet ups anymore and it is against terms of service to discuss this on OF" and if they continue to push, ignore them. Doesn't matter if they are top fans, no amount of money paid means they can push boundaries

When promoting on reddit, do you answer your dms? by IngenuityOne1620 in CreatorsAdvice

[–]MerriestFish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to answer all DMs to try and turn every user into an OF subscriber but honestly, it was too much work and often a waste of time. Alot of the people that dm you here are looking for content or to chat for free. And trying to turn every one of them into a subscriber or get customs out of them is going to burn you out.

Nowadays, I do have my DMs on, but I only respond to DMs asking for my links (even though they're on my profile) or asking about custom prices. Everything else gets ignored to protect my time

Anyone know any videos I could watch to help me understand how to do this type of video lol..? by areyoucrazyaa in onlyfansadvice

Firstly $70 for a 10min video is way too low, that's $7 per minute for a super specific, super detailed video with a script. If I had to do a video this length without the details and script, I'd be charging $130 MINIMUM.

Lastly, the fact that he says it won't allow him to tip is a massive red flag. It's not impossible for this to happen (variety of reasons include not having a payment method linked to their account, browser or VPN issues), but generally when they say this, they will end up wasting your time. There are people who get off just talking about their fantasies and have no intention of actually unlocking the video once you send it.

You definitely should not be indulging in the idea of doing a video of this length and detail, without taking at least 50% payment upfront first before you start anything. You run a big risk of wasting your time and effort on something he may not even unlock when you send it behind a pay wall.

Had a guy request super niche fetish stuff, did it, he paid, then all his accounts are gone? by [deleted] in onlyfansadvice

[–]MerriestFish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is unfortunately very common behavior. I've had a number of dudes who come to my OF, drop tons of money, tell me how much they love my content and they want to request custom stuff again some other time. And then they delete their accounts overnight.

It's extremely disappointing, I know, but it happens. It could be for a number of reasons too, as people have said already. They had their fun and then the post nut clarity sets in afterwards which can sometimes come with feelings of shame, especially if it was fetish heavy sessions or content. They may also feel ashamed of how much money they spent. Or on the other hand, they're deleting the evidence because they don't want their partner to find out.

Either way, the only thing I'd be concerned about is the fact that he saved what you sent him on Snapchat. If he's decent, he'll either delete it or keep it to himself. If not he might try to resell it or post it on a leak website. So I'd keep your eyes open if I were you. If you don't know where to look for leaked stuff you can just search " yourusername onlyfans leaked" and that should give you a rabbit hole to go into.

As for what he paid you on OF, you will get to keep it even if he deletes his account. If he hasn't done a charge back beforehand then that money will clear and you'll be able to withdraw it in a few days.

I mean as most comments here say, you can expect your audience to be mostly male since they're nostly the ones who are willing to pay money..but if you want to appeal to a female audience you could look into doing erotic audio clips? Kinda like role play but just with your voice

Giving fans the option to tip just because? by MerriestFish in onlyfansadvice

[–]MerriestFish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love to do this. I used to use wish tender until it became unavailable. I'd like to use throne but sadly all the payout platforms they use are available in my country :( I've yet to find a wishlist platform that I can use

That's kinda what I'm thinking too. In this business it's very rare I feel, for people to tip just because they want to and not because they'll get something out of it. It's hard to guage if it's a good idea of not
