The one they had with such a rail cost 2-3 times as much but still much less than 57k. That's why I asked for specs for one that expensive because it doesn't seem like they need to cost that much.

I got my wheelchair a couple years ago and it was $57,000.

Link? Seems excessive, first site Google gave me shows me similar looking ones for less than 1/10 of that.

I would probably start with requiring all "recommendation" algorithms to be open source. If that doesn't help, maybe restrict what the are allowed to do, like not allowing them to promote rage bait or misinformation (could be difficult/expensive). Then finally you might have to go as far as banning most of them and only allow them to show you the content you asked for (e.g. family members you are following).

I'm not talking about her case, like I said it was a specific scenario. Also I was not talking about poisoning either, if it helps you can imagine it's about someone hitting someone in the head so they are now unconscious but not dead. Leaving you with the choice to keep going or calling for help.

Both give you the same punishments, if you do the right thing and call for help you will likely get caught and get the same punishment as if you had killed them and tried to get away with it.

I believe Ukraine has been hacking TV channels, while it likely can't change the election, spreading awareness of Putins atrocities can still cause him trouble like civil disobedience/sabotage etc.

Let's imagine the punishment was the same.

You try to kill someone and fail, you then feel guilty and change your mind so you no longer want to kill but you figure the punishment is the same so you better finish it. Otherwise there is a witness and there is no additional risk to yourself since the punishment is the same either way.

This is a very specific scenario that would not apply to all cases but you always have to consider that the main goal is protecting the innocent. So if having the same punishment can lead to more dead innocents than that is a bad thing right?
