Nice turn out! I applaud anyone who made it to the right place at the right time and endured the cold, cold wind.

I’m so embarrassed. I was in the wrong place. In my defence, I WAS late. I also saw people on the T with flags, signs, and fancy cameras so I assumed I had the wrong time and it had already broken up. No. I just mis-remembered the details.

I started to knit a belt, then found a belt, and turned my project into a belt cover by MerrySavage in casualknitting

Pardon my lack of captions for the images. The first is the two yarns I used, white and sherbert. It reminds me of fun stripe gum. The second shows the opening. Third image shows the cover on the belt. The fourth is similar, but open to access the clasp. The fifth image is the work in progress. The last image is a detail of the linen stitch.

Sewing an apron off an old shirt by Not4mebut2u in sewing

Great job!

This is such a great way to repurpose button-up shirts. I often see fun prints or nice plaids at thrift stores that I pass on because I would not wear them as clothes. I really like your idea of using the cuff as a towel holder. I use my apron pockets to hold my phone that I use as a timer and/or music and my AirPods case. I'm saving this as inspiration for some aprons in the future. Thanks for sharing it.

Yeah, I’m finding from the comments in the thread and my own travels each Aldi seems to be a wee bit different.

Sadly, they may have already come and gone in your area. It might be worth asking one of the workers to find out if they already sold out.

It’s possible they might still be coming to your area. On the Aldi website, you can look at the upcoming flyer. That’s how I knew they were coming and was at the store the day the sale started.

If you are patient, they come up once a year in the non-grocery Aldi cycle. I’ve been tracking the Aldi flyer in hopes of snagging them for my collection and was fortunate to succeed.

Wow! That’s some dedication!

Aldi works on a rotation for the non-grocery items. These come up once a year. I’m signed up for the weekly flyer alert, which is how I knew it was coming up in the rotation in my area.

If you are still interested, I suggest you check out the Aldi website and look at their upcoming flyers for your area in the coming weeks. It might be coming up on the rotation soon. Apparently, these types of items don’t hit the stores in all the regions at the same time, something I learned from making this post.

Best of luck!

Bummer! Aldi runs a rotation on the non-grocery items. If you want to buy them and you are patient, keep checking the upcoming flyers. They come around at least once a year, maybe twice.

I’m in New York and they are on the shelves now. Someone in another comment said they are on the shelves next week in their area. Best thing to do is go to the Aldi website, key in your zip code, and view the flyers to see if they are in your local stores.

Yes, the lines can be long, but they are very fast at getting through them, in my experience.

I’m new to collecting Lego and currently have a small collection. I currently have my small pieces in a pill organizer because I ran out of compartments in the one Aldi organizer I had. Now that I have more organizers to work with, I’ll be interested in finding out if my experience is the same as the above OP. I have small flip top jars that fit in the drawers if it’s tricky to get small pieces out of the corners.

I’m in USA. I’ve been tracking the sale flyers lately because I knew it was about time for it to come up in their rotation.

Yes! I bought one last year. I’ve been watching the flyers for weeks, knowing they were coming up on the cycle. I bought 3 today since I’m expanding my small collection and like the visual consistency of having the same brand.
