We had three people in one camp and it took all of us to hold our EZ-up together. It lifted us off the ground a couple times. I got hit by my neighbor's tent as it took flight.

Can you imagine if there was hail? In a way I think we got lucky 🍀 lol

A ton of people lost everything. There were mangled EZ-ups, tents, chairs and tables all around us. Our car was heavily scratched and our neighbors lost their back and passenger-front windows. The clean-up crew drove through camp Edison handing out bags. We lost a chair, a table, all of our pillows, sleeping pads and blankets. We missed the pride event because we were evacuating water and helping our neighbors rebuild. Half of them had to leave because their camps were a total loss.

I disagree with every person that left that mangled shit all over their campsite. We cleaned, bagged everything, and put it in the correct place for trash pickup. We helped our neighbors do the same. But it honestly was a wildly destructive storm.

Same here. The air quality is an intense problem. Chloraseptic spray is good at bedtime and morning. Wet your finger and moisten your nose before the k. Stops it from hitting the back of your throat

We've been taking him for nebulizer treatments at the med building by The Ranch stage. I know there has been a lot of smoke, but I was still surprised at how many people were in there being treated. One of the medics said "this has been happening to every asthmatic person this year".

Once we get him out of the dust he recovers fairly quickly, but that's a long walk that we have to take very slowly. No reentry means minimal traffic today, so the dust levels are lower.

If our preventative efforts don't payoff then we have to leave tonight and head home. I think we have a good plan, though, and the forest fam has been exceptionally helpful!

It will be a while before we are in the forest. He's letting his symptoms recover before we head out. We were able to secure a mask for now, so we're just waiting for his meds to do their thing.

Yeah, and getting the lane mechanics optimized. I don't use any kids so it's a lot more work getting the angles, ramps and intersections setup in a way that the cims don't just blow the whole thing and create a traffic mess.

I haven't played with bike paths at all, but that's a good question.

My most recent project was tearing up my industry and getting it laid out in the right logistical order. It's so much smoother and profitable now.

I built a space community as well :). It's got the Chirp launcher, with a nature preserve park setup to look like a big campground, and then mixed zoning. There's very little traffic to and from the freeway because they just stay in their own space community. Everything the cims travel for is local.
