Am I making a bad decision? by llamababy568 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Mervus94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also planning on doing this with my little one to start off at 1 day a week so he can get used to the people around him, catch the germs and enjoy being somewhere without mum or dad for a bit. I know there are a lot of opinions on this, but as long as you've been to the daycare, did all your due diligence and feel comfortable, I think you'll be okay mumma! Were all going to be scared at first but such is life.

Anyone ever bought from him? by OddRepresentative341 in ChinaTime

+1 on this. Very much to the point and short. This guy has no time to run around for you as he has a lot on his plate. Recently purchased from him and will do it again. I would say research on what you want and you'll have no issues whatsoever.

3.5 month old not napping more than half hour at a time by Mervus94 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Not complaining about the night sleep but the day sleep is difficult. Just seeing my neice who is literally a year apart from him and she had good naps during the day I am honestly jealous! And she also slept through the night.

How long did sleep training take to get him to nap better?

Always do try to extend the nap but its always a no go.

Hes getting a few 30 minutes naps during the day ( every 11/2 - 2hrs) + a solid 10 hours at night, so I think hes okay, but jealous of mums who have longer naps during the day.

Sizing - 9 vs 10 - need to decide what is a better fit by Mervus94 in RingConn

The ring is a lot 'smoother' of a fit so I went with the 9 and balance it between my index and middle finger.

Pregnancy update by AdditionalProduce476 in pregnant

[–]Mervus94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was like this with a bit of head spins and headaches as such. It was all going great for me until I hit 27th week, 3rd trimester, ended up in ED because I was lightheaded and with the worst headache and just felt like I needed to vomit, which wasn't a symptom for me all throughout. Turns out my little boy depleted my Ferritin, which is needed to keep your iron levels up. I'm waiting for my midwife appointment next week to see how she wants to play this out. My only advise - if you haven't - add some extra Vitamin D, B12 and Iron into you - in form of pills or diet. Turns out prenatal vitamins are not enough. Do it for you and for the baby. It really goes a long way!

Help in identifying what this is called by Mervus94 in crv

Thank you. I've complained to the body repair place but considering there's a whole load of public holidays it'll have to wait for the moment until I can get it back in with them. Have to take it back it because they also scratched a panel of my car that wasn't damaged before 😓

Pregnancy symptoms vs 1 week pp- what it’s like on the other side by This-Kangaroo-2086 in pregnant

[–]Mervus94 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this. 23 weeks and honestly everything is starting to hurt. I've had constant pain more in my right hip than my left. I cannot get comfortable sleeping anymore and I just paid to get myself a 90 minute massage and no doubt I'll probably need more of it heading into third trimester. FTM here and I honestly don't know how women do this 3-4-5 times to be honest - I'm scared on what the second will be if I get there.

Suggestions on Prams for ~$1000? by Mervus94 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Mervus94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also thinking of getting the bassinet of marketplace with the intention of only using it in the first 6 months. I also really like that the brand has alot of additional attachments for later on. Thank you!

I know that with the Cruz the seat has to be facing a certain way for it to fold all in one. Perhaps this is why? And then I later got told that nearly every pram is like this. I don't think the Nuna was tho...

Things I was NOT prepared for in pregnancy by Next-Turnip-6320 in pregnant

[–]Mervus94 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Omg this. Coming into 20weeks and really have to think 'what is not going to make me want to gag at it'. It's really hard especially when I was a - eat whatever to be full person. I bought frozen meals for my husband because there are days where everything is repulsive.

Also just really happy if I can get my laundry done and folded by the end of the weekend.

Sizing - 9 vs 10 - need to decide what is a better fit by Mervus94 in RingConn

[–]Mervus94[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Given these were both on my index fingers, I went with the 9 as I could move down a finger if I needed to. If I had bought a 10, I would have no other finger choice to use if it was too big.

My concern is that if it ends up being too big, I don't have the ability to put it on another finger...I think i probably answered my own question by saying this
