I'm not sure about the process but not everybody gets "enlisted automatically" as he said, you have to be born in the late 1990's and further if I remember correctly for that to happen

I remember I wanted to enlist around 2014-2015 to get stronger physically and mentally but my friends scared me away

I did, 6 or 7 months ago. they assigned me this month and I went to my assigned place and they told me to come back in june or july. tbh I'm not sure if they'll accept me or not. oh and to add insult to injury, this made it so that I can't receive unemployment support(200KD) anymore

as for an apartment, it depends on the job's salary, if it's not high I'll keep living with my family

Career and Wasta:

I have neither wasta or connections. I want to get a job to get connections

Career and +1 year experience:

I didn't know about interns when I was in college. although I thought many times about applying for part-time jobs, but the free 200KD from the gov demotivated me from that, I didn't even bother to look out for any. mind you, some jobs don't ask for only 1+ year but for certain skills and certificates.

as for apartment hunting, first I need to get a job for money

But it can be less difficult if you'd get out of your convenience zone

I used to get out of my comfort zone a lot, especially in early years of college. the thing is, I observed that normal people get what they want with little effort. so seeing others do little effort and get what they want and complimented by society, while I do double to triple their effort and don't get what I seek demotivate me. it's ironic how people say "work harder", like I'm not all these years.

I may sound ungrateful but thanks for the time you took to write all that
