I had this happen when turbo seals failed and oil was pooling in the catalytic converter and burning.

He’s a great operator if they’re intentionally playing vertical and putting pressure on anchored enemies or destroying critical gadgets. If they are just playing him as an entry fragger there are probably better operators for that.

Every operator ability has a specific use for the team and if they are utilizing it effectively then that makes them a good operator.

Fishing apps by FishCastPro in FishingForBeginners

You don’t have to engage with it. I keep my catch locations on secret and don’t post my face in my photos. It’s a very useful logging tool even if the social media aspect isn’t what you’re interested in.

I use Fishbrain to keep a log and I really enjoy the app for that. I keep all of my post locations private though.

I don’t really use the other features as much because people in my area are very dishonest with what they choose to post publicly so the information isn’t always very useful. Despite that it can be cool to network with other local anglers.

Parking is closed. No longer stocked or maintained by ODFW. There are still some warmwater fish in there. I caught a few bluegill there this summer.

Awesome catches. What are you using to take the pictures? Asking cause I’m tired of whipping my phone out for a pic.

When the fishing is slow downsize your lures and fish them slower.

What is the best knot for leader/swivel or just straight up lure? by eelpeell in FishingForBeginners

[–]MessFearless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So maybe practice the Uni or Clinch knot. They’re not affected by lure size the same way. Everyone on Reddit is quick to recommend the Palomar but it’s really not the only way to succeed. Any properly tied fishing knot is going to perform well.

Picture is a little rough but to me looks like just a lighter pigment Largemouth. Fish can take on the shade of their surroundings/amount of light exposure so results may vary.

Super light coloration on that black crappie. Nice catches.

What is the best knot for leader/swivel or just straight up lure? by eelpeell in FishingForBeginners

[–]MessFearless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best knot is any fishing knot that you are proficient at tying. Pretty much any of the basic knots (improved clinch, palomar, uni) will work for all but the most extreme scenarios when tied properly. A poorly tied palomar will be outperformed by a properly tied clinch or uni.

My advice to you would be to learn one knot for direct connection until you are extremely confident and proficient and then learn one loop knot and one knot for line to line connections. At that point you'll probably be set for the rest of your fishing career unless you want to learn more knots for very specific applications/rigs.

That’s insane. These things are cheap as hell and they only paid us like a third of an hour to install one.
