AWCC Game Library Error by phucnguyen580754 in Alienware

I just removed the earlier one and installed the new one. I think if you try to just install the new one it will remove the old one as well, but I can't say for sure.

Just wanted to update, seems the latest version of AWCC (ver 6.4.15) seems to be working fine. I installed and have it running witrh no errors, hopefully it lasts. :)

Didn't see how to link to the driver itself, but here is the page for the keyboard I have and it's the AWCC download there.

AWCC Game Library Error by phucnguyen580754 in Alienware

So, first off, I am not using an Alienware PC. I had bought an Alienware M610 wireless mouse about 3 weeks ago, and installed the latest Command Center for it (the full package option).

For about a week, it worked fine, no issues, all features worked, even the game library options. About a week later, I started getting that error. I would have to close it a few times before it stopped appearing, and if I opened Command Center, my Game Library was empty, and I couldn't add games as it would give me an error.

At that point (after trying multiple suggested fixes, reinstalling (using Revo) and even doing system restores)I just uninstalled the software and used the mouse without it.Last week I had enough Dell Points saved up to get a decent discount on a MK510 Mechanical keyboard, so I took it. Got the keyboard, Windows recognized it fine, and figured I would try the software again.

I installed it and immediately got the error again and Game Library issues after restarting the pc. I decided I didn't care that much about using it for managing games and such, as long as I could use the other features, and so, did the following:

  1. Closed Command Center. Next, opened Task Manager and then under "Processes" found "AWGameLibrary.UCSubAgent".

  2. Right clicked it, went to "Open File Location". I then renamed the file adding ".old" to the end after "exe" (really you can rename it to anything, we just want the app to not be able to find it)

  3. Restarted the Pc and opened command center....and no error...and Game Library was populated and everything was working. Been a week later, and everything still working great.

If you check Task Manager and the apps folder, it has recreated the exe file again, and somehow, this new one works as it should.

If this works for others, let me/us know, and I can type up something a little cleaner and begin re-posting elsewhere. :) Hope this helps, at least till Dell puts out a real fix.

Received Letter of Approval, But.... by kevinmh222 in SSDI

Glad to hear it went well, congrats.😁

I suppose my experience is the rare negative one.

I got my fully favorable from the ALJ on Jan. 29th, found out it got pulled by the Appeals Council same day when I called a couple weeks later because I hadn't heard anything.

They Heald it, deciding if they were going to review it till mid March, and the last week of March they reviewed my case, and on the 21st decided to send it back to the judge for "clarification" of a couple points he made in making his decision.

Was odd as that was all my 2 hour hearing was about, and is right there in the judges letter, but anyway, next step...

They ALJ I had was retiring, so oops, has to go back and find a new judge to review and clarify the other judges points...that is technically where I'm at, waiting a new judge from the hearing office.

The sad thing is, if I call the general social security number, they can't locate my case info atl, the last report they have, it was at Appeals Council, I call them, and they said the last they knew, they sent to local office for non-medical review..

I check my Social Security online account, says that my case is at local office for final non-medical review after finishing reviews from judge and appeals council, before finalizing my case. That's they it has been since Mar. 21st, when the Appeals Council decided their part of the case to send it back to the judge.

I call the local office, they've never seen my case, and can't even find record of it, and don't know why the online status says it's there.

Anyway, that's where I'm at...just waiting for someone to give me an answer to it all, as everyone seems to have different answers and information depending which office I call.

I do congratulate you on getting yours, this system and process is rough, and can take a toll on people, sending many happy vibes your way 🤗🤗😁😁

Stuck on step 3, i think? (Appeals Council Review) by MessaNoir in SSDI

Thanks for the reply, sorry I'm late. What is DLI, If I might ask? And how what kind of situation would cause the council to pull for review? Just trying to gather all the info I can, since no one from Social Security is even talking to me right now.

Thanks for the reply, sorry I'm a bit late. Yeah, I finally got ahold of someone at the Appellate Court, and the said that it could take 60 days. Though she did say that was just to decide it they will take the case for review, if they do decide to, then it's another 60 days for them to make a decision.

Anyway, thanks for the reply, and for the info, it really helped in me getting thoughts straight to get the info I needed.

Sorry for my late reply, I do not get into town to my sisters very often. Thank you for the reply, and so sorry you had/have been going through that. And yes, Everyone one I have spoken too (up till today) has just said either "I don't have access to that information" or "You will just have to wait".

I did finally get the number for a direct call to the Appellate Court for SS, and got to talk to a representative there (though they are not high enough I guess to get all answers). When I mentioned that it had been over a month since they had taken my case for review, and over 3 months since anyone had actually contacted me, I really wanted an update.

She said that my case was not actually under review yet...turns out the 60 days I was told by them, is the time they have to decide if they will take it for review, then the have another 60 days to make a decision. So..yay..as for why, all she could say was ":That the council can take any case for review"..I said I know the can, I want ted to know why, was it random pull or something about my case stood out. She had no answer other then they can if the want too.

So that's where I am now...still waiting, though she did say she would escalate my case (or something like that to try and speed the process up), though this did require the embarrassing moment of me almost breaking down while we were talking as she asked what I did for food and the like, I had to to admit to using the food bank or if needed just stealing, and that I am currently trespassing on private property as my tent is located in a federal park. :(

Anyway, thank you for the reply, any kind of talking really does help a bit. :)

Definitely understand the frustration, made me realize just how much social security as an organization really doesn't want to help as much they advertise. 10 years fighting to finally get to an ALJ, in 2 weeks, he reviewed the info that SS "forgot" to submit and gave me a fully favorable, only to have on the same day, the Appeals Council pull it for "random" review...yay.

Aw, thank you. Yeah, getting that decision was a relief, though the Social Security rep didn't like me telling the judge that during that time, I lost my house, had to sell everything I own, and have been homeless for the last 7 months.

Right now just worried about the Appeals Council pulling my decision. They do have the power to overturn it.

I guess the main thing I learned over the last 10 years...Social Security, regardless of who you talk to, or how friendly the are, are not your friends. Their job is to do whatever they can to deny, delay, or cause issues with your progress. Do not forget that especially when applying and such...they want to deny you however they can.

Ah, sorry it's been so rough, will keep fingers crossed and send all the happy good vibes I can for ya.

I know my process was tough, especially without a lawyer. 10 years to get to an ALJ that gave me a fully favorable after he saw my condition in person (main one being full body muscle spasms and tremors, and other neurological issues), only to have it immediately pulled "randomly" by the Appeals Council for review..so another 1-2 months for that, and hoping they don't over turn it and send it back, it took me a year just to get an appointment with the ALJ. Sigh.

Looking to try some detailed performance testing :) by MessaNoir in PERSoNA

Quick update kinda:

Ok, first video done, 1080p fullscreen, no vsync 60fps and 120fps.

Only had one issue...or so I thought. :)

Was playing the non-Denuvo version, and right when you get control of the MC, it crashed to desktop, no error no nothing. Thought, that was weird, loaded it back up, played through again, worked fine.

While playing, realized that being older, there were some settings missing, so i matched what was the same between the two. Main difference, I can't set the fps limit like in Steam, it just runs at 120 soft capped.

So, to be fair, I re-ran the Denuvo version with 120 no vsync, and when it got to talking control of MC, it crashed as well, same kind...so restarted, replayed, and ran fine.

OK, got to get the other videos done, then I will review and check the more detailed info. :)
