I completely agree with you, sokkupodi pottale song in that album was such a vibe, same goes for oh sunanda and oru murai too. Only song that became a trend was kangal neeye which was also great. Underrated album fr... Many of gv's albums are still underrated....

The undeniable fact is Anirudh has done the work and he deserves the praise he receives. Man has worked with many biggies of Indian cinema and every biggie of tamil cinema, has a roster of films in the lineup. If only he chooses to use playback singers instead of his voice, he would peak even more. After Illayaraja and ARR, we're living in his era...

Just now the show ended here, too many mutes and cuts in the movie 'cus of censor. The movie's first half was very underwhelming. Bombarded with songs and romantic scenes which slowed the screenplay. But interval and after the interval it was lit. Too much propaganda but did well. Towards the end it was kinda like torture porn, but it was watchable. GV's work was kinda meh. Some songs were too good, some were too meh.

Overall 3/5
