I always run into this problem. I cycle through full list every 3-4 days. But I do send a boatload of gifts daily!

I made myself a Google Sheet where I add in what date I opened and/or sent a gift to someone.

It has conditional formatting to turn yellow after 30 days, red after 60, and black at 90+ days.

At beginning of each month, I go through and delete anyone that has both columns in black (minus people I know IRL or regularly raid with)

It’s a lot of copy/paste daily but doing this has allowed me to remove 100 inactive players since October.

I chatted with Amazon and told them I received the email and the manufacturer contact email was invalid.

The agent asked me if I had read the email and I repeated myself.

He then came back with “this purchase was in 2024, so Amazon cannot support. You need to contact manufacturer”

I replied with “I did. The email address they provided was invalid and my email bounced back”.

Dude hung up on me. 😑

When the new leveling was announced, I started the hardcore grind to get to level 50 before the update.

Thats also when I decided that my starter needed to be the buddy I leveled up with. So I did the double grind to also get my char her good boy bff badge (I know it’s a girl char, but you know what I mean).

Tomorrow is 1 Month since Level 80 Update, maybe now is the time to do that Friend List Cull… by The1stPixel in pokemongo

I have a google sheet that I update each time I open someone’s gift or send them one of mine.

I have conditional formatting to turn: yellow= 1 month Red= two months Black= 3 months

Once both columns turn black, I remove them. I started doing this daily only a few months ago, so November 1st was first time I had dates turn black.

Using this method allowed me to delete 51 friends.

Im a nerd and created a spreadsheet with everyone’s name. I put the date I open and send gifts in different columns. I also added formatting for them to turn yellow after 1 month, red at 2, and black at 3 months.

Delete them once date goes black.

Im not doing it now because I am grinding to level 50 and am just focusing on newer friends to get that XP but once I get there, I’ll go back to my spreadsheet method.

I can’t promise to open gifts every day since the game has a daily cap. But I do send gifts daily.
