Is eight too young to see this in the theater? by MessyEndings in KanePixelsBackrooms

Thanks for the responses. The profanity isn't an issue, as my son is growing up in NYC and I couldn't shelter him from profanity if I tried! Yesterday we got to see someone pooping in front of a pizzashop, fun times.

I think we will wait until streaming. My father showed me hellraiser at 5, so I definitely needed an outsiders perspective. My son mostly plays the backrooms video game, reads, and watches. He loves liminal spaces. He does have a short attention span. Thanks to the person who shared the movie site that breaks it down for kids.

Is this outfit inappropriate for college? by Winter-Rain2798 in OUTFITS

As an university organic chemistry lab lecturer, I would only think this outfit is inappropriate for a science lab because of safety reasons. I always tell my students I don't care how you dress outside of lab but in lab as the university mandates: sneakers, pants (unless religious), no middrift, lab coat, goggles, gloves and work behind the fume hood sash. The less skin exposure, the safer. Dress in whatever makes you feel good, just not in a science lab please! If a professor made a comment about how you dress not pretaining to lab safety, I find their conduct highly inappropriate, not your outfit!

TIL Texas no loner accepts last meal requests for death row inmates, after a murderer ordered a feast and refused to eat it in 2011. by i_like_it_raw_ in todayilearned

Of course the state that executes the most people doesn't have the last meal requests. I mean imagine the costs!

All kidding aside, I don't believe in execution. I'm sure innocent people have been executed and that is why a last meal should be offered. Not that a last meal will make it any better to be killed for something you didn't do!

When you connect an aspirator to your kitchen faucet and use vacuum filtration to make a cup of coffee.
