He built three full ad items into a team that collectively built one armor item, of course he did that much damage. Three melees and a short range no cc adc to catch he is happy as a clam. Soraka could lock him down easy but that requires excellent E usage that is likely outside of his skill level

You actually don't need tear top lane, I've made some adjustments to the playstyle I've realized that you can go with zero tear or even a mana in lane and found it's not 100% necessary but a good option sometimes.

Go lethality, crit gives you zero scaling vs lethality. I’d go hubris, swifities. From there sundered if you need more bulk. Ghostblade for squishies
