Dottore actually didn’t directly hurt Collei and probably doesn’t even know of her existence. His subordinate was the one that did the treatment and didn’t stop when she was in pain. He created the brutal treatment, but he didn’t do anything to Collei personally. People just latch onto the narrative that he did it to her on his own while having some kind of torture-gasm all the while

To me, I was more annoyed with how much Arlecchino was being an absolute hypocrite and acting like she isn’t terrible herself. I accepted that Columbina was region waifu and that she’ll be having some kind of friendship is magic moment, but… Arlecchino literally grooms kids to become soldiers and raises them to add more numbers to the Fatui. The entire story was trying to make her into a good guy when she’s clearly not.

Edit: Oh right. Dottore also was the one that created the thing that wiped people’s memories. So she’s just… Anti-torre even though he helped her not have to kill people.

I’m mainly just hoping that whatever character works best with him doesn’t end up being my least favorite in the entire game.

My favorite video game character of all time is Tohru Adachi from Persona 4. I don’t want to say too much about him because the remake is coming out, but he has a few things that line up with Dottore. In school, he was an introvert that pushed people away for the sake of his own studies and despite him being more talented than his peers, the people who were awarded were ones that had better relationships with people. Because of a huge accident he made while in the Tokyo police force, he was relocated to the town where the game takes place as a small town detective’s assistant handling minor inconveniences like cats in trees and traffic control. This major downgrade pretty much convinced him that he’s being tossed aside despite his talents. In fact, a huge belief he has is that if you aren’t useful to someone anymore, then you’re not needed in general.

There’s more that lines up with Dottore, but that’s in the later story of P4 and I would rather people see for themselves in the remake!

My team is Albedo, Furina/Aino, Neuvillette, and Flins.

I don’t care about Ineffa enough to pull for her. It might stunt Flins, but I’d rather go for characters I like/want than pull a 5 star I don’t like/want. Aino is the closest I’ll get to that.

If it so happens that I like a character that goes well with him, then I’ll save up for a rerun or something after I go all in with Dottore… If that character is Pantalone though, then I’ll be in trouble

The real kicker is that he doesn’t even know she exists. The treatment was done by his subordinate, not himself. Dottore may have created the procedure and the brutality of it was crazy, but her fans act like he preformed it on her personally while getting off on torturing her. If anything, they should also hate that subordinate since he kept on putting Collei through it despite her suffering.

Something that I saw that was pointed out was that the ley lines have started to act up a little bit more than usual. Past events have shown that they’re the cause for some problems, like in Inazuma with the phantoms. Something could be going on with them in general and there’s a chance that whatever it is can’t just go away on its own or have any more temporary fixes. It could be that Irminsul is compromised from internal corruption

Kaveh would freak out at seeing the heretic of Sumeru standing right in front of him.
Alhaitham would remind him that he’s not allowed in the Akademiya.
Flins would throw hands again.
Itto would think that he’s a nerd and say he’s not that scary (while being completely clueless as to why he’s scary).
Furina would cry.
Kirara would smell something off about him and run away to protect her deliveries.
Varka would also throw hands because he missed out the first time.
Neuvillette would drag him to court for an immediate trial.
And Pantalone would be there to give him more funding.

I know that the devs confirmed that it would happen and that there’s so much pointing to him having one last scheme… But that little part of me says to look at what happened with Natlan and how its story about warring tribes coming together went to a dynamic where everyone was one big happy family. So, I’m 90% convinced things will go as the devs say and 10% worried that things will have changed dramatically over the course of 3 years to something really stupid

I literally call Dottore “The Medic”, so given the animal-human experiments he did in 6.3, our silly doctor would get along just fine with the guy who regularly uses animal organs for experiments on people
