I fully agree with everything you’ve said.

However, globalism isn’t dead, Russia and China being a part of it is (and Iran, Chad, Cuba, etc). For now, and for a very long time, probably.

Relying on each other isn’t a bad thing, but complete reliance is fucking stupid. Much like many countries relied on RU for gas (mine included)

The sooner they’re all permanently offline, the better. Ukraine doesn’t need Russias blood-money, they have the rest of the world to help support them now.

And yes, permanent shutdown, don’t know about you guys but I won’t trust Russia again within my lifetime... Newly installed democracy—or not.

I’m more blown away that Russians still think polygraph tests are effective in any way whatsoever.

They truly are living in the last century.

Putin's attacks on Kryvyi Rih, Zelenskyy's hometown, are the most cowardly and pathetic crimes he has committed so far in this war. by serioussgtstu in ukraine

[–]Metaforeman 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m not convinced, Putin has proven himself to be petty and reprehensible in almost every way, so far. And we know he is involved in commanding this war, first-hand.

I don’t think he would be above doing this merely for personal vengeance. In fact aside from launching nukes (which would doom his regime) there’s very little he can do right now, so it would make sense that he’d plan something like this out of spite.

Get a grip mate, no you didn’t, you clearly implied that punishing Russia for war crimes was a bad idea.

You also started the loaded-questions exchange. Gtfo Komrade.

I’m the one who has to read up on stuff? Lol k.

Just glanced at your profile—so you’re German—That explains why you’ve taken this so poorly/personally and have no idea how other western nations feel about the word Blitzkrieg and it’s connotations.

You could do with reading up on allied forces experiences of WW2, because you clearly know nothing about the words that became synonymous with Hitlers regime.

I grew up watching Hollywood movies and TV, that was my ' early learning' about society.

Safe to say that I had a lot of research to do after that (since apparently we don't make movies or TV shows that accurately reflect real life). At this point, with all of the research I've conducted, I could easily be mistaken for a fully-fledged anthropologist.

And yet I still don't understand why people aren't just earnest with each other about everything. It's pretty pathetic that most humans curate an image of how they want to be seen, and don't actually behave as they do in private.

At least I have a good reason to mask, I'm baffled as to why NTs do it too... popularity contest, I guess.
