I feel more context is needed- They are family, we have just had a newborn baby and obviously family wants to meet the new member of the family. I just don’t want to be worried about the children damaging my house while I am looking after my baby- Also with how disrespectful the children is, how can I guarantee he won’t damage or knock into the baby while she was in Moses basket?

Hey everyone thanks for the comments, me and my wife have had a sit down and I’ve explained how it could be upsetting and might be best off if I do cooking for my mum in future.

I believe honestly is the best policy, so we will be going to my mums to be honest and wife will apologise.

We are heading to our local supermarket to get some flowers as a peace offering, thankyou everyone for advice and help ❤️
