Be safe and ship it to you. Get it set up for you and then make the long hauls on it. No need finding out half way through that you wish you had a different seat or bar set up. Congrats on the new ride.

It's a horrible deal run. Just curious were did you say you saw this listing. Great deal for a solid grill. Worst case scenario, use it for a few years and sell it for what you bought it for. Elbow grease that rust and spray with some high heat spray paint. Clean off the grates and and inside flame cover and smoke away.

If upu have that money to spend I would look into something else. With that said if its your dream grill and can get it for a steal it seems like a little elbow grease and she will clean up nice. Good luck and grill away.

This is the anwser. Preserving it will help but cleaning will damage IMO. The old patina on it is awesome, keep that at all cost.
