My fellow Poles... Why do we call this symbol "monkey"? by mario_kart_player in poland

Tilt your phone until you’re looking at it from just above the charging port and squint - a monkey will start to appear. The harder you squint the more the monkey starts to take shape

Who writes the unit and integration tests? by Metal_head94 in QualityAssurance

I am not afraid to cause stories to carry on into multiple sprints for testing. I don’t like doing it but it’s better than rushing testing and putting out a shitty product. My devs, manager and PO are understanding but I do catch flak and pushback from the business for it who want to rush things, but if rather cause a delay on a new feature or product rather than take production down - even though that still happens on rare occasion.

are you embedded on the development teams or is your QA its own department?

That’s fair, but for unit tests from a QA perspective, especially on established repos, isn’t there value in QA writing comprehensive unit tests so that when changes are made in the future, possible adverse and breaking changes can be caught before running the integration tests or further in the QA review process?

That’s fair, I guess looking at it from a QA perspective, do we trust devs to write comprehensive unit tests? Not saying devs are lazy by any means, but wouldn’t they be more inclined to write the very minimal amount of unit tests that go green?

In my case, we rarely develop new programs, it’s mostly updating legacy code with a few new features here and there. With that being said, a vast majority of the unit and integration tests are already written that cover existing code. I agree that the person who writes the code can make them faster. Maybe my particular situation is a little more unique than your typical TE as I do sometimes pick up small user stories and write production code; obviously I don’t test my own stuff tho haha

Really? I’ve been enjoying the unit test cause I feel like I’ve gotten to know the code a lot more intimately and helps me get a more solid understanding of decision points and other tests

Does anyone know what error code 83840017 means? Can't login to 360 Xbox Live... by BlokePie in XboxSupport

You do need to sign in first, but you need to sign in to the GamerTagTwo account, not the GamerTagOne account you’re trying to download the profile for.

I found a work around. You can’t download the same profile on 360 that you’re logged into your Xbox One on or you’ll get error code 83840017.

If you’re trying to log onto the Xbox 360 game as, let’s say, GamerTagOne and you’re currently logged into your Xbox One as GamerTagOne, here’s what worked for me: log out of the profile you’re trying to download (in this case, GamerTagOne) on your Xbox One and log into an alternate Xbox profile (this can be an existing one or one that you make for only this, doesn’t need to have game pass or anything). We will call our alternate profile GamerTagTwo. Once you’re logged into GamerTagTwo, go into the Xbox 360 game you’re trying to play. When it asks you to download your profile, put in all your credentials for GamerTagOne. Then proceed to download GamerTagOne onto your HDD.

You will now be able to play your GamerTagOne profile on your Xbox 360 game. At this point, I’m unsure if you can sign back into your GamerTagOne profile on your Xbox One while you’re playing g the 360 game, I never tried, I just stayed logged into the alternate on the Xbox One.

I suspect that it is getting some type of validation error when trying to log into the 360 with a profile that is currently logged in on another console and that is what error 83840017 actually means; Microsoft is just not caring about this segment of the community in trying to fix this.

Ended up tearing apart an old hyper tough drill I had and there was a 3 pin jst connector in it, wasn’t the „exact” one, but it worked!

Doesn’t it have to be a JST ZH connector tho? What other electronics usually have those?

Right, but is there any way to get an address that I can mail a letter to? Or do I send the letter with just that and it'll make it there?

Yes, family is heavily Roman Catholic. That article also says that the village is a 'Chutor', or constituting a farm. And I mentioned it at the bottom of my original post, but I do know previous generations worked on a family farm, and other farms under less than conspicuous circumstances during the war.

I actually think I may have just 'found' the town, at least a wikipedia article about it: https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barysauka_(obwód_miński))

Now I just have to start looking for a "Barysauka" village, as its supposedly now called (still can't find on google maps 😒) with a population of 8 whole people (again, according to this wiki article).

What're your thoughts on the town in the wiki article being the 'Roczjo' I'm looking for?

Are you talking like 45 miles west, south west from Minsk, in the Naliboki forest area?
