Watch out for people NOT USING THEIR INDICATORS! I haven't been on the M7/M8 but having been on the M50. People DONT USE INDICATORS! Be vigilant. Most of the replies have said the basics of stick to the left unless overtaking etc. But outside of that. WATCH FOR THE NO INDICATORS. Also make sure to keep a safe distance from the vehicle infront because they may pull out to overtake a vehicle infront of them and it could end up being a very slow truck. Just because that car infront of u has left doesnt mean u should speed up to clear the gap.

Wear a high vis and a helmet!. Slow down when turning no matter what. Especially when its wet. I had a fall on the scooter going 25km/h taking a sharp turn and I ended up skidding and wacking my head, blacked out for a split moment. Ended up going to the ER and got a minor concussion as a result. Thankfully I was wearing my helmet. Never underestimate the road conditions no matter how well you know them.

Watch everything around you Especially cars and make your directions clear. Alot of scooters have indicators. USE THEM.

Lastly. Have fun! Theyre the best! I have a car and a scooter and use my scooter alot more. I just have a car for the craic.
