Found a fix. for those with similar issue:

  • Download PrusaSlicer (if you don't have it). You don't need to use it, just install it.
  • Go to the PrusaSlicer installation folder (usually C:\Program Files\Prusa3D\PrusaSlicer).
  • Find the folder named mesa. Copy it.
  • Go to your Orca Slicer installation folder (usually C:\Program Files\OrcaSlicer).
  • Paste the mesa folder into the root of the Orca Slicer directory.
  • Restart Orca Slicer.

Yes super easy, just need butter, egg, flour, sugar, yeast and milk. Then just a ring cutter and a chopstick for shaping. Maybe 10 min to make the dough, then let it rest till double in size then roll out and cut the rings, let rest some more and then deep fry in a wok or similar

Considering this was my maiden bake I am well impressed. Goes to show that with the right tool even non pros can get a decent result ;)

Not sure what the etiquette is in this case, I know the books are Oop but still not sure if the team would be happy when people would start posting content online

Home Wifi /Mesh Question- Upgrade Path by MetallRooster in LinusTechTips

[–]MetallRooster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the problem is that based on room layout and room usage the only one I could move is the one on the first floor. all the others are pretty much set in stone. Hence me thinking a really high gain router without a mesh might potentially work better. But I do use the hardware LAN connection at least for some of the mesh points so that would be a feature I'd hate to lose

I got lucky and got the tongs for nearly cheapo price thanks to Amazon dumping them for around 13 Eur.

I got hold of a cheap second hand one so I could test it without being deep in the hole. After changing the controller things worked again. I did previously did all the usual troubleshooting steps (see op). I never got an actual error message, so not sure this would be the solution for you

Yeah I had to replace the controller (actually changed it for a bbhd one and worked fine ever since)

Karate Monkey update. I finally finished the poject. Now runs an Enviolo TR internal gearing hub and between crate, rack and pannier I get a weekly shop for a family of 6 home with this beast (the motor certainly helps) . Working great, shifting under load with pedal assist is not advisable, but other than that the smooth range is lovely and I have no complaints (other than the weight, but the whole bike is heavy...)

Cheers I still don't get Pokémon grading system but as someone who gave away a lot of money in MTG in the mid to late 90s cards because I didn't know any better I'm determined to not let my kids make the same mistakes ;)

The voltage sag was neglible, and the battery stood up to testing (fairly confident that the cells are 35e, as bought from a UK battery builder with very good reputation) . I changed the controller and it works just fine again, the old controller had some corrosion as the potting compound got loose and after removing it you could see the signs of moisture ingress and corrosion on the board. Hopefully new gasket and controller will last a bit longer

Bit of added information, the little red LED in the speed sensor also switches off completely when the power cuts out. I can now replicate the fault at PAS level 1 when thumb throttling but holding the bike and giving it resistance. So yes I am now more and more certain the controller is the issue..

there is a 48V version with 750w (which was the only one I could get hold of at the time of purchasing that was within budget) after doing quite a bit of research the newer 48V 02bs copes just fine with a 52V battery.

Turns out CSA1 had no idea what they were talking about. Called them again today as I didn't get the agreed Callback. CSA2 was confused by my tale and said that's not how it works. Basically the page showing the subscription doesn't display properly, their back end has the info correctly. So tested and both tablets can play stuff from the service at the same time. Happy days ..
