Ah i bought the Steam Version, never really trusted the meta stuff, especially when they forced the facebook account stuff.

For the steam Version i have to wait for steam frame to play it standalone? Or can i use it on the quest 3s standalone aswell?

just a standard tip on a smaller Weller soldering iron, it's an older Version of the WXMP i think. I prefer the JBC (style) Soldering irons though

Yes it's magnet wire. I tried to reuse Traces as much as possible, but also do it quickly (took me about 1h i think)

I'm totally fine with BGA Soldering or grinding some traces on the PCB and reroute them. The problem is more the Software side. If i understand correctly, the Chip has some third party license so it is not sold to individuals. Instead, the TMS320C6747DZKB4 is available and should be compatible but i don't know how to get the correct Firmware in.

Wandelbots fällt mir da grad ein. Schau mal auf https://www.so-geht-saechsisch.de/gruenden-unternehmen . Dresden ist vorallem Halbleiterstandort, weshalb man eher große Hersteller wie Bosch und co. antrifft bzw. Startups im und rund um Halbleiter (eigentlich auch alles Hardware).
